The Denmark Street Big Band is one of the best big bands in the UK, and it is my privilege to be their guitar player. This has given me the opportunity to play some of the country’s most prestigious venues including The Royal Opera House, Skibo Castle (Inverness), and The Pizza Express Jazz Club, Dean Street, London.
The band regularly hosts some of the best-known jazz players and celebrities in guest slots including Mitch Winehouse, Ray Gelato, and Bobby Davro.
One of the other aspects that excites me about the band is the themed shows we do. So far they have included Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and even Elvis themed shows!
