One of the best things about the guitar is its versatility, and it can be applied to many different genres effectively. Nowadays I’m increasingly being engaged in a solo context, and have amassed a set of tunes which spans Classical, Traditional Irish, Jazz and film themes, which are perfect for setting the mood at a variety of events. There’s more pressure involved due to being so exposed, but it’s a real thrill to be able to create music such as this and set the mood to many different events, often in very beautiful places.
